Terms of Service

By installing and using the SnapTextify Chrome Extension, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

1. Use License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the SnapTextify Extension in accordance with these Terms.

• Free Plan: Allows up to 3 OCR text scans per day.
• Premium Plans: Unlocks premium features and offline scans. Credit-based tiers (Starter Pack: 300 scans, Pro Pack: 1,500 scans) are credited to your account and never expire. The Unlimited Premium tier provides lifetime unlimited scans with up to 5 device activations. License purchases are associated with a single email address.
• Device Restraints: A single Premium license key can be activated on up to 3 browser installations (devices) simultaneously. Sharing your key outside this limit is a violation of these terms and will lead to automatic key suspension.

2. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension.
• Distribute, lease, sell, or rent your license key or any offline verification codes to others.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass the daily scan limit meters using automated bots or scripts.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

SnapTextify is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free or that the local Tesseract OCR engine will achieve 100% text recognition accuracy on all image files, video frames, or complex fonts.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall FarKode or the SnapTextify project developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the extension.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke license keys that are found to be violating device constraints, shared publicly, or associated with fraudulent transactions on Razorpay. Upon key suspension, your access to premium features will be immediately terminated.
